About our programs:

Welcome to our new Official Chamber Web-Site! On behalf of the South Shelby County Chamber of Commerce the Board of Directors, Staff and Membership thanks for visiting!

The goal is to serve our membership and visitors with a more dynamic and resource filled site that will be one that you visit often for business to business referrals, information on important business topics, information on chamber programs and access to chamber services.

Our theme is "Our Business is Your Business!"

How does the South Shelby County Chamber of Commerce help you build your success through membership programs and services?

"People do business with people they know and trust". The chamber is one of your best opportunities for building success by building relationships with people and businesses that are critical to your success and the success of your business.

How do you build relationships?

Networking, we offer a variety of quality networking opportunities, Coffee with the Mayors, Speed Networking, after hours highlighting local attractions, monthly membership luncheons, and the chamber is perhaps best known for networking.

How do you translate that networking into business?

By building relationships with people, by doing business with other chamber members, by developing a reputation for quality service and products with an influential business community, and by sharing your expertise and access to others.

How else do you build your success through the chamber?

Access to experts and information you need to be successful. From our Ambassador Program to our Leadership Luncheon with the Legislators program, educational programs brought to you through our partnership with the Central Alabama Women's Business Center all provide forums that provide current information that you need and access to the experts to provide you with the resources to building your success.

How do you build your business?

Marketing. The chamber offers many opportunities for marketing yourself and your business. You can serve on a committee and provide expertise and the opportunity to call on other chamber members to assist them. We only refer chamber members! Our referral system assures that when the chamber office receives an inquiry - you our member are referred! All just part of the return on your investment in the South Shelby County Chamber of Commerce.
